Dont Wake the Kitty Updates and Events

Dated fact log of what changed, what dropped, and how to verify it yourself.

Updates Hub

Dont Wake the Kitty does not publish a Steam-style numbered patch blog. The Roblox “Updated” timestamp moves, the event tile changes, and players feel it in spawn tables. This hub is the conservative log of public facts so the rest of the wiki stays aligned: the game is released, Roblox-only, online 5-player multiplayer.

How to use this hub

Two pages live here:

Changelog — the dated log of what Astra Studios changed or what Roblox reported as a universe bump. Each row needs at least one of: a Roblox event title plus date, a group-shout screenshot, or a reproducible in-game UI change.

Admin Abuse — the luck-hour explainer. What changes during the event, how to pre-lock, and when codes might drop.

What counts as a changelog row

A changelog entry needs at least one of:

  • Roblox event title + date
  • Group shout screenshot-level public text
  • Reproducible in-game UI change (new Rewards tab, new rarity tag, new floor)

It does not get a row for:

  • A script GUI changelog
  • A guessed fuse recipe
  • A code copied from Retro Cats

The player patch routine

After you notice “Updated” on the Roblox page:

  1. Skim this changelog
  2. Walk the map once
  3. Test Steal and lock prompts
  4. Check codes
  5. Only then hunt a mythic

If something in getting started is suddenly wrong — menu names, prompt key — compare to the live HUD. Fan wikis lag; the proximity prompt does not.

The cross-page sync rule

If this changelog says a menu moved, how to redeem must say the same menu. If a new Exclusive ships, secrets and exclusives gets the name the same day. If lock prices change, how to protect drops the old Robux figure rather than pretending 49 is forever.

When you see a contradiction, believe the live HUD, then this changelog, then the guides. The facts we care about — released, Roblox, five players online — do not change because a YouTuber used the word “beta.”

Live event windows

The game runs Admin Abuse windows where luck and spawns spike. These are the highest-value play sessions. Read Admin Abuse before joining one.

The Roblox experience page event tile is the patch calendar. If a thumbnail says “Update 12 codes,” confirm it is place ID 92942575852492. Other Kitty games have their own numbering.

What we will not invent

No semver patch number. No “v1.4 official notes.” No fuse recipe that a commenter guessed. If Astra Studios posts something public, it goes in the changelog with a date and a source. Until then, this hub stays boring so the guides can stay specific.

The game will keep moving. This page stays conservative on purpose.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for stealth runs, steals, and base defense.

Where can I see the latest Dont Wake the Kitty update?

Check the Roblox event tile on the game page. Then read the changelog here for a player-facing recap.

How do I know if Admin Abuse is running?

Watch the Roblox event tile. During the window, boards light up and spawns spike. Read Admin Abuse for how to play it.

Why does this wiki not list version numbers?

Astra Studios does not publish numbered patch notes. We track Roblox Updated timestamps and event tiles instead.

Something on a guide page is wrong. What do I do?

Check the live HUD first. If it contradicts this wiki, the changelog or a patch note is the source of truth. File the mismatch against changelog.
