Dont Wake the Kitty is a Hello Kitty neighborhood, not a solo act. Friends from the same pastel universe show up as floor steals and as sleeping giants. Mixing those roles up is how you try to pad a chasing Melody.

My Melody
Giant: pink hood, heavy chase, often the first wake in beginner clips. Stealable: smaller Melody models, sometimes Rare or event-tagged. If chat says “Melody woke,” they mean the guard. If Index ticks “My Melody,” you placed a pad model.
Carry small Melody like any Rare: corners home, no plaza flex. She is a magnet for players who main pink.
Kuromi
The mischief pick. Ara-Ara’s session is literally a Kuromi steal with a grappler. Giant Kuromi is a mean lane; small Kuromi is a collector trophy that often sits Epic or better. If you only want one friend on the plot for style, Kuromi is the usual flex. Lock her. Protect exists because of pads like this.
Cinnamoroll (Cinnamon)
Clips call him Cinnamon, Cinnamroll, Cinnamoroll. Giant form is a white missile. Small form is a stealable with a long nameplate. Rainbow Cinnamoroll showed up in older steal-a-kitty cousins; if you see a rainbow dog here, check rarity before you assume S-tier.
Pompompurin
Yellow beret energy. Giant Pompom is a wide cylinder — bad overlap with other guards. Small Pompom is a friendly Common/Uncommon in many sessions, sometimes higher during events. Fine front-pad decoy.
Badtz-Maru (Bet Maru)
Sibelblox calls him Batmaru / Bet Maru. Often an early money printer in “I placed him and now I have $100” clips. Treat as a starter friend, not a late-game pad hog. Replace when Epics arrive, keep one for Index.
Other friends and misreads
Pond dog, Derpy Tiger, fairy girl, “my emoji” misspellings — the fan-made roster is messy. If the nameplate is not a classic friend, it still counts for Index. Put weird names on secrets only when the tag says Secret or Exclusive.
Dual roles in one lap
You can steal small Kuromi while giant Kuromi sleeps ten studs away. That is the joke of the game. The how to steal rule still applies: path home without crossing the giant of the same face if you can help it. Same-face lanes feel personal and the hitbox does not care.
Income versus fandom
Your favorite friend may tick like a Common. That is allowed. Park them upstairs and let Angel Kitty pay the rent. The tier list will not rank “best personality.”
When a board names a friend as the next legendary, show up. Named legendaries of Melody or Kuromi are how fandom and wallet finally agree.
Walk the plaza once per session and list which friends are giants today. Event layouts swap who is napping. Map and spawns is the geography; this page is the faces.
Pronunciation and chat tags
Chat will spell Cinnamoroll five ways and still mean the dog. Melody, Kuromi, Pompom, and Maru are the stable tags. If someone yells “the bunny,” they mean Melody. “The devil” is usually Kuromi. “Pudding” is Pompompurin. Learn the slang so you do not steal the wrong board. Nameplates still win arguments — open Index if a trade offer in chat is actually a Common with a confident nickname.
