Dont Wake the Kitty Upgrade Planner
A spend order for plot cash so Commons stop eating your Epic’s budget.
The upgrade planner is a spend order for Dont Wake the Kitty. Pad signs take cash and raise ticks. Players dump everything into the first Common because it is there. Then a Legendary arrives and the wallet is empty. Follow this page after every successful steal, especially if you just redeemed a code.
Exact dollars per second are not published. We rank priority, then you read the live sign. Pair with best income.
The order (memorize this)
P0 — Survival. If giants still catch you on a Common carry, buy movement speed or a grappler before another pad upgrade. Dead players print zero. See controls and escape.
P1 — Best tick. Click the sign on your current highest earner. One more level on an Epic beats three levels on a white Hello Kitty.
P2 — Empty slot. If you are holding a steal and every pad is full of worse rarities, replace the worst Common. That is an upgrade even if the menu did not open.
P3 — Lock budget. If P1’s kitty is raid bait, save for the lock prompt. An unlocked Mythic is not an asset. Protect.
P4 — Second-best tick. Only after P1 is clearly ahead. Spreading evenly feels fair and loses.
P5 — Cosmetics / flex. Never while a grappler is missing.
Decision prompts
Ask, in order:
- Did I die on the last carry? → P0
- Is a Mythic/Secret/Exclusive on an unlocked pad? → P3
- Is my best sign cheaper than a new tool? → P1
- Am I holding something better than my worst pad? → P2
- Else wait and steal again (how to steal)
What not to upgrade
- Duplicate Commons
- A kitty you will replace this lap
- Front-pad bait you placed to distract raiders
- Anything while a countdown is at 10 seconds and you are standing in the shop
Admin Abuse exception
During Admin Abuse, skip P4. Convert luck into P1 and P3 only. You will not have time to babysit a mid-tier Epic while mythics rain.
After a code
Code cash is still cash. It does not have to be “saved.” Run the same order. If no code is active, this planner still works — that is the point of the empty codes table not blocking progression.
Plot snapshot example
Pads: Common white, Uncommon Pompom, Epic Gamer, empty. Wallet: enough for one sign or a grappler. You died last chase. Buy grappler (P0). Next steal: Legendary Angel. Replace Common (P2), lock if possible (P3), tap Angel (P1). Pompom stays as Index, no more cash.
That story is the whole tool. Repeat it until it is muscle memory, then you can ignore this page and still play it.
When a patch adds a new sink (second-floor slot, new gear), insert it as P0 if it saves carries or P2 if it is just space. Track those inserts on changelog.
Talking to the sign
The pad sign is the only calculator we trust. Open it, look at the current tick, imagine the next level, and ask whether that delta beats buying speed. If you cannot see a number, you are in the HUD Upgrades list, not on the plot sign — walk closer. Players who upgrade from the wrong menu sometimes buy a global that does not touch the Mythic they meant to feed. Click the kitty’s own sign. Then close the UI before a raider treats your AFK as an invitation.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for stealth runs, steals, and base defense.
Should I max one kitty or spread upgrades?
Max the best tick first (P1). Spreading is how Commons eat Epic budgets.
Grappler or pad upgrade?
Grappler if you are dropping carries (P0). Pad if you already make it home consistently.
Do codes change the planner?
No. Extra cash still follows P0→P3. Redeem steps are on how to redeem.
Where is the upgrade sign?
On the plot in front of each kitty. It is not the same button as the HUD Upgrades list.
